Welcome to Roy Crofton-Mann Heating Services
Hello, and welcome to my website. I'm Roy Crofton-Mann and I've been fitting the very best gas and oil boilers, fires, and oil storage tanks for over 20 years. I personally oversee all the work and enforce my own high standards of workmanship, courtesy and consideration on every job we do.
Why do I call myself "The Thinking Person's Heating Engineer"? It all started when a customer referred to me as "the thinking woman's plumber" because I didn't patronise her and carefully explained everything I was proposing to do. Somehow the name, albeit slightly modified, stuck! I'm better educated than most tradesmen (M.A. and B.Sc. degrees plus several postgraduate qualifications) and I like to think that it shows in the design and execution of the work we do - plus I listen to what my customers want and make sure that is what they get.
