Hello, and welcome to my website. I'm Roy Crofton-Mann and I've been fitting the very best gas and oil boilers, fires, and oil storage tanks for over 20 years. I personally oversee all the work and enforce my own high standards of workmanship, courtesy and consideration on every job we do.

Why do I call myself "The Thinking Person's Heating Engineer"? It all started when a customer referred to me as "the thinking woman's plumber" because I didn't patronise her and carefully explained everything I was proposing to do. Somehow the name, albeit slightly
modified, stuck! I'm better educated than most tradesmen (M.A. and B.Sc. degrees plus several postgraduate qualifications) and I like to think that it shows in the design and execution of the work we do - plus I listen to what my customers want and make sure that is what they get.

And, if you ask us very nicely, we fit luxury bathrooms and kitchens as well, but we are primarily heating engineers - though we do like a change sometimes!
